TED BRUNETTI (Los Angeles/New York/Atlanta): Producer, Director, Acting Coach/Teacher, and Actor. Ted is currently appearing as “Frankie Coffee Cake” on Broadway in A BRONX TALE (codirected by Robert De Niro, and Jerry Zaks, book by Chazz Palminteri, music by Alan Menken, choreography by Sergio Trujillo, produced by Tribeca Productions, Dodger Productions and Tommy Mattola). Ted is Uta Hagen's protégé (nearly 20 years). Invited Guest Member of the renowned ACTORS’ STUDIO (LA). Ted is creator and executive producer of a half hour comedy pilot for FOX Broadcasting Network and has several projects currently in development, and is an award winning coach/teacher.
He is Faculty, Guest Faculty, Coach & Director at the premiere Directing and Acting Programs and Institutions across the U.S. and an on-going guest artist for the Actors Center Australia (patron: Hugh Jackman; founder Dean Carey).

Brunetti assisted many years at ABC Primetime Casting in NYC under Alexa Fogel and Bob Huber. Ted directed the Ovation Award Nominated production of THE BOYS NEXT DOOR (LA), and directed several productions for "The Company" at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (LA).
As a coach and assistant, Ted has had the honor of working with: George C. Scott and Jack Lemon prepping them for remake of INHERIT THE WIND – Emmy Award for Best Actor to Jack Lemon; James Gandolfini for his last four feature films, and prep work for what is now called “THE NIGHT OF” for HBO; Mark Feuerstein for the leading role in ROYAL PAINS-9 Seasons on USA Network; TONY, Drama League, Outer Critics Award Nominee Valarie Pettiford on all of the following and more: DISCOVERY OF WITHCES (currently shooting in Whales), VALOR, BEING MARYJANE, THE BLACKLIST, BLACK-ISH, BORN AGAIN VIRGIN, TRUE BLOOD, TREME, JUMPING THE BROOM, many other television shows and feature films; Mike Epps; Nichole Tom (THE NANNY, MASTERS OF SEX, MINOR ACCOMPLISHEMENTS, many feature films and television roles); Tyra Banks; Mya; & many other renowned actors, athletes, & musicians. Ted shadow directed last two seasons of THE DREW CAREY SHOW under Bob Koherr; Wanda Sykes (WANDA AT LARGE). Brunetti works with major networks, studios, casting directors, agents and managers, preparing clients for auditions and performances and on-set/on-location, for leading roles in current television, film, theatre, and “new media” projects.
In addition to Uta Hagen, Ted also studied with: Mike Nichols; Austin Pendleton; Horton Foote; Stiller & Meara; Francis Sternhagen; Elizabeth Wilson; F. Murray Abraham. Ted holds a BFA from The University of North Carolina School of the Arts; The Actor’s Studio (Invited Guest Member). The recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts’ Achievement in the Arts Award. Ted was voted finalist in three Backstage Magazine Readers’ Choice Awards 2016 and 2014: Best L.A. Acting School/Coaches, Best L.A. Audition Technique Teacher, Best L.A. OnCamera Teachers as well as runner up Favorite Acting Coach & L.A. Favorite Acting Teacher 2010 & 2008.
As an actor, Ted has worked on projects with: Uta Hagen, Jerry Zaks, Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Whoopi Goldberg, Dan Petrie, Sr., Donald Petrie, Rob Marshall, James Foley, Diane Paulus, Mark Brokaw, Nicholas Martin, Graciela Daniele, Pat Birch, Steven Sondheim, Flaherty & Ahrens, Paul Gemignani, (and many others) including productions at Playwrights Horizons, Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center, B.A.M., The O’Neil Center, The Ohio Theatre in NYC, Hartford Stage, The Pittsburgh Public Theatre, H.B. Playwright’s Theatre (appeared with Uta Hagen in the first Herbert Berghoff Tribute), Bucks County, Falmouth, & Pocono Playhouses, Dorsett Theatre Festival, WestbankTheater Center, Riverwest Theater , etc. He was an in the original production of FALSETTOS sharing the role of Marvin directed by Graciela Danielle, he was as a cover in the original production of Stephen Sondheim’s ASSASSINS, originated the role of Pasqual in AVENUE X Off-Broadway at Playwright’s Horizons in NYC, played Pippin in PIPPIN five times, first dramatic feature film role was in Al Pacino’s TWO BITS, first comedy role was in THE ASSOCIATE with Whoopi Goldberg and Diane Wiest. He was a singer for the Oscar and Golden Globe Nominated animated feature ANASTASIA and it’s prequel BARTOK THE MAGNIFICENT.
